This is a large mixed media painting which delves through layers of blues reaching towards a suggestion of water, cloud, riverside and feelings of brightness and hope. This one just grew itself across the canvas in layers, gestures and rhythm.

Layers of fine tissue paper and thick textural handmade paper with acrylic paint, pastels and tiny metallic thread stitched quietly in hidden accents. This is a painting to live with daily.
